Pear for Baby

Original recipe from Annabel Karmel's book Top 100 Baby Purees.

Stage 1: 6 months

Ingredients:
  • 2 med pears, peeled, cored, and chopped
 Directions:
  1. Place pears in a pot and cook over low heat until tender, 4-5 min.
  2. Blend mixture to desired consistency, making sure to blend out all chunks.  Serve lukewarm.   
  3. If desired, thicken your puree with baby cereal as long as your baby has already been introduced to cereal. 
  4. Freeze or refrigerate extra baby food.
