Refrigerating Baby Food

Babies are especially susceptible to food-born illnesses.  To prevent food poisoning:
  • When thawing frozen food, heat it to steaming hot and let it cool to correct tempurature
  • Always spoon what you are feeding your child into a separate bowl
  • Discard uneaten food from baby's bowl
  • Label and date leftovers, then use it within 2-3 days
