Pita Chips

Pictured: pita chips with lentil rice pocket salad

Original recipe from Farm Bell Recipes.

Ingredients:
  • thin pitas (had been rolled at least 1/8 in thick before baking)
  • olive oil to taste
  • salt or garlic salt to taste
  • opt: garlic powder, onion powder, or other seasonings to taste
Directions:
  1. Preheat the oven to 350.  Brush pitas with olive oil on each side.  Sprinkle with desired seasonings.  Cut to desired size.
  2. Lay in a single layer on cookie sheet.  Bake 15-20 min, until golden.  
  3. Serve with hummus, lentil pocket salad, chicken pocket salad, tuna salad, egg salad, taco salad, salsa, etc.
