Spicy Bean Burger

Original recipe from Veg Web.  These are so yum!  We give them 6 thumbs up (because there's three of us).

Ingredients:
Directions:
  1. Heat oil en a large skillet over medium heat.  Saute onion 5 min, add garlic and saute a minute more.  Add carrot, chili powder, and cumin and turn heat to low.
  2. Mash beans with mustard, soy sauce, and tomato paste.  Mix in sauteed vegetables, corn, oats, and salt/pepper.
  3. Shape about 6 patties using a peanut butter lid (or other dish of similar size) lined with plastic wrap.  Freeze patties in sealed baggies for later use or continue to next step. 
  4. To cook: Re-heat skillet to medium heat.  Coat pan with oil.  Cook each burger 4 min per side or until a good crust forms.  Serve on buns with greens, tomatoes, sprouts, and other favorite burger toppings.  
  5. Also try cilantro black bean burgers.  Yum!
