BBQ Sauce

Original recipe from Eighty Twenty and Food Network.

Pictured: BBQ sauce over baby back ribs.


Ingredients:
  • 4 cups ketchup
  • 2 cup water
  • 1 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 c honey or brown sugar 
  • 1 T fresh ground black pepper
  • 1 T onion powder
  • 1 T ground mustard
  • 2 T lemon juice
  • 2 T Worcestershire sauce
Directions:
  1. In a large pan (tall sides prevent spitting) over medium heat, whisk all ingredients together. Bring to a simmer and turn heat to low.
  2. Let brew for75 minutes, then cool. Store in glass bottles or jars.
  3. Serve over BBQ chicken, baby back ribs, potato wedges, BBQ black beans, etc.
