Oatmeal Wheat Pancakes

Original recipe from All Recipes
Ingredients:
  • 3/4 c quick oats
  • 1 c water or milk
  • 1 t vanilla
  • 2 T oil
  • 1 egg (try flax eggs)
  • 3/4 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 T sugar
  • 1 1/2 t baking powder
  • 1/3 t baking soda
  • 1/3 t salt
Directions:
  1. Mix oats with wet ingredients, let sit 5 min.  Sift dry ingredients and mix together, cook as regular pancakes.
  2. Top with fresh fruit or freezer jam instead of syrup!
  3. Yield: 3 large pancakes.
