Ingredients:
- 1 c softened butter
- 2 c sugar
- 1 t lemon juice
- 4 eggs
- 1 t vanilla
- 3 c flour
- 2 t salt
- 1 c milk
- raspberry or strawberry frosting
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 375. Grease 24 muffin tins or two 9" round cake pans.
- Cream butter, sugar, and lemon juice until fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Sift dry ingredients and add to mixture. Add milk, pour batter into pans.
- Bake 20-30 min, until springy to the touch & toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool completely before frosting with raspberry or strawberry frosting.
