Ginger Cooked Carrots from About: Southern Food.
Yield: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 6 carrots, chopped
 - 1 T butter or oil
 - 2 t lemon juice
 - 1/2 t ginger
 - salt and pepper to taste
 
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 400. Scatter carrots in a 9x9 casserole dish.
 - Sprinkle seasoning over all, dot with butter. Bake 1 hour.
