Pictured: creole shrimp mixed with coconut rice.
Ingredients:
- 12 oz raw shrimp, fresh or frozen
- 1 T olive oil
- 1/2 T chili powder
- 1/2 t cumin
- 1/2 t sugar
- 1/2 t salt
- 1/4 mustard
- 1/4 t thyme
- 1/4 t pepper
- dash celery salt*
- dash paprika*
- dash ginger*
- dash allspice*
- dash cloves*
- dash cinnamon*
- dash cardamom*
- Preheat oven to 350. If frozen, rinse shrimp in hot water until thawed.
- Sprinkle seasonings and olive oil into a 9x9 baking dish. Toss shrimp into pan, or mix in with fingers, covering with seasonings.
- Bake 10-12 minutes. Goes well with coconut rice.
*The dashed spices represent seafood seasoning. If you have some in the house, use that instead!
