Cornbread

Pictured: corn bread with vegetable chili 

Original recipe from All Recipes.

Ingredients:
  • 1 c all-purpose flour
  • 1 c yellow cornmeal (you can mill your own using a grain mill or good blender)
  • 1/3 c white sugar
  • 1 t salt
  • 1 T baking powder
  • 1 egg
  • 1 c buttermilk
  • 1/3 c vegetable oil
Directions:
  1. Preheat oven to 400.  
  2. Mix dry ingredients, mix wet ingredients.  Add wet to dry, pour into a greased 9x9 baking dish.  
  3. Bake 20-25 min. 
  4. Serve with honey butter!
