Ingredients:
- 1 T yeast
- 1 1/2 c warm water
- 1 egg
- 3 T olive oil
- 4 c flour
- 3 T sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 T Herbs de Provence (Italian Seasoning)
Directions:
- Dissolve yeast in water in large bowl. Add 1 cup flour, sugar, salt, and herbs. Add beaten egg and oil, then slowly add remaining flour. Mix; dough will be sticky.
- Turn onto floured surface and knead 10 min. Cover and let rise to double, about 1 hour.
- Divide dough in two. Shape dough to fit in two pie pans. Let rise, but not to exceed the height of the dish. Preheat oven to 350.
- Brush with olive oil, sprinkle with herbs. Bake 20-25 min.
