Pictured: sausage gravy and fried egg over toast.
Ingredients:
- 1 pound breakfast sausage
- 1/3 c flour
- 4 c Milk
- 1/2 t salt or bouillon
- 2 t pepper or to taste
- In a large skillet over med-low, brown the sausage. Sprinkle in the flour little by little, stirring to moisten the flour and remove all white spots. Little by little, pour in the milk and mix well.
- Cook the gravy, stirring frequently, until it thickens, about 10-12 min. Add seasonings and cook until thick and luscious. Taste and adjust seasonings and liquid.
- Spoon sausage gravy over warm biscuits (or toast) and serve immediately!
