Ingredients:
- 10-15 slices bread
- 4 eggs
- 1 1/2 c milk
- 1/2 t cinnamon
- 1/2 t vanilla
Directions:
- Heat skillet to medium. In a shallow glass dish, blend eggs, milk, cinnamon, and vanilla.
- Dip bread slices one at a time in egg mixture, turning to coat. Lay in pan and fry about 2 min per side.
- Serve immediately with butter, syrup, powder sugar, jam, peanut butter, fresh or thawed frozen fruit, etc. OR
- Arrange in one layer on a cooling rack, lay rack on cookie sheet, and freeze for 1 hour. Transfer to an air-tight container and store in freezer for a quick breakfast. Microwave and/or toast to prepare frozen French toast.
