Original recipe from family. Obviously. ;)
Ingredients:
- 1/2 c butter
- 1/2 c sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/4 t lemon
- 1/4 t almond extract or vanilla
- 1 1/2 c flour
- 1/4 t baking soda
- pinch of salt
Cream wet ingredients, sift dry. Add together and chill 2 hours. Preheat oven to 350. Roll and cut. Bake 10 min. Sprinkle sugar on them while hot, or let cool and top with frosting.
