White Bean Puree


White beans sneak easily into dishes for some extra creaminess and protein. I like to make a big batch of these at a time (2 cups dry beans, soaked and cooked or 3 cans) and freeze them in 1-cup containers

Ingredients:

  • white beans, cooked (or from a can)
  • optional: garlic salt

Directions:

  1. Place white beans in a blender with optional garlic salt. Puree until smooth.
  2. Freeze for later use in alfredo sauce, tomato soup, broccoli cheese soup, potato casserole, etc. Get creative!
