Original recipe from a Young Women's cookbook.
Ingredients:
• 1 c karo syrup
• 1 c sugar
• 1 c peanut butter
• 7 c rice krispies
• 2 c milk chocolate chips
• 1 c butterscotch chips
Directions:
- Grease a 9x13 pan.
- In a large microwave-safe bowl, melt syrup, sugar, and peanut butter (1-2 min).
- Add rice krispies. Pour into prepared pan.
- In a small microwave-safe bowl, melt baking chips (1 minute, stir, then continue melting and stirring at 30 second intervals till smooth). Spread on top of krispie treats.
- Cover. Let cool until topping is hardened enough to cut.
