Peanut Butter Scotcheroos


Original recipe from a Young Women's cookbook.

Ingredients:
    • 1 c karo syrup
    • 1 c sugar
    • 1 c peanut butter
    • 7 c rice krispies
    • 2 c milk chocolate chips
    • 1 c butterscotch chips

Directions:
  1. Grease a 9x13 pan.
  2. In a large microwave-safe bowl, melt syrup, sugar, and peanut butter (1-2 min).
  3. Add rice krispies. Pour into prepared pan.
  4. In a small microwave-safe bowl, melt baking chips (1 minute, stir, then continue melting and stirring at 30 second intervals till smooth). Spread on top of krispie treats.
  5.  Cover. Let cool until topping is hardened enough to cut.
