Ingredients:
- 1 unbaked pie crust made with 1 c wheat flour
- 1-2 T olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 c (10 oz) fresh or frozen broccoli, chopped
- 1-2 c cooked ham, diced
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 t pepper
- 1 c milk
- shredded cheese to taste
- Preheat oven to 350. In a medium bowl, steam broccoli in the microwave.
- In a medium skillet over medium heat, warm oil. Saute onion and garlic. Lay dough in pie plate. Add broccoli and ham to onions, heat through. Dump into pie plate.
- In a medium bowl, whisk eggs, milk, and pepper. Pour over vegetables. Sprinkle with cheese, press down with spoon.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, until center is no longer jiggly.
